What is the suction and head of peristaltic pump

2022-02-14

Today,Let's learn:"What is the suction and head of Peristaltic Pump":

Suction range, also known as the "maximum self-priming height", refers to the vertical height between the liquid level at the outlet of the fluid to be transported and the pump head of the peristaltic pump. The theoretical suction range of the general peristaltic pump can reach about 9 meters, but the flow will linearly decline to the minimum value, losing the precision transmission advantage of the peristaltic pump and losing the ability to work.

Head refers to the vertical height from the pump head of a peristaltic pump to the liquid outlet. Under normal circumstances, when the factory air pressure of the peristaltic pump is set at about 0.15mpa and the liquid head does not exceed 15m, the flow rate of the peristaltic pump is stable. If it exceeds, liquid backflow may occur, resulting in a drop in flow rate.
